Laura is a multidisciplinary artist, who works primarily in photographic media. She received her BFA (2018) from the Maryland Institute College of Art in Photography. She is originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and is currently based in Vermont.

In her recent project Presence, Laura explored the relationships between place, land, and nature of Vermont and the personal connections she has formed there through images and poetry. With interest in the meaning of and relationship to an environment when time has passed and physical distance becomes a barrier. Seeking to define the significance of our emotional connections to a place and how these connections evolve and impact our present.
